I had already purchased these for my baby boy…and because I found them to be SO cute I decided to order a few more to have on hand to give as Baby Shower gifts or Newborn gifts….although there is a maximum of 3 it will allow you to purchase at one time.
It is such an original and useful gift. The bright colors are perfect for the array of baby boy clothes now available.
The only thing is that the cute-cute-cute! box that they came in lists from 0-12 months and my son is almost 3 months and they are already a bit tight on him…doubt they will fit when he is 6 months old….so you can say that they run small.

I purchased these socks as a gift for a baby shower. When they arrived, I inspected them and they are VERY cute – exactly as pictured. Also, you can’t really tell from the photo, but the box they come in looks like a mini sneaker box, and it’s cute too. I saw other brands with similar sneaker-style socks, but those have “laces” that are woven into the sock pattern. I chose these because of the sewn-on bow that I feel gives these socks a more realistic look. However, that same bow is a negative to the product, because the ribbon used to make them is not sealed at the ends, and a couple of the bows were showing signs of unraveling. That is unacceptable for socks as expensive as these! For a gift, these are sure to be a crowd pleaser, even if they do fall apart later. But if you’re shopping for your own kids and looking for durability, these may not be for you. Of course you could always use a fray control product (or even a dab of superglue) on the ends, but again that’s too much work for socks at this price point.
I’ve read many reviews about how these socks run small and the kids can’t wear them long, but when I inspected the socks, I slipped a couple of them on my hand (which I’d say is medium sized). They are very stretchy, and I pulled them down about one inch shy of my wrist. With that, I feel like they will get some decent use. I can’t see why a sock that fits almost my whole hand wouldn’t fit a child’s foot. Then again, I don’t have any kids so I’m not really sure about how fast they grow!
